Musical Era Group Work

The group will be responsible for giving general information about the time period, countries or regions, and political structure.

The Musical Era Researcher will give general information about the time period, dates, music styles, composers, instruments (just briefly), song titles, countries or regions, and political structure. You are to include a map of the region. Yours will be the first part of the PowerPoint presentation.

Here is a list of questions that you must address in your presentation:

Name the dates of this era.
Give historical facts of this time period that reflect the culture at that time.
Was sacred music more popular than secular music at this time? If so, why?
What was the role of women in music at this time?
Name the countries or region that dominated the music of this time period.
Create an outline of your information using Inspiration.
Using Inspiration, make a concept map. Next you will it to an outline. Print out both the concept map and the outline. You will hand in both the outlines and the concept maps.
