Primary Games.Com This is a really fun website. Kids can take part in a number of different activities. They can write their spelling words, practice predetermined words, play math, science, and social studies games! There are even puzzles here!

Space Hopscotch : This is a cute game that will help students learn to skip count by 2's.  It has a more challenging level in which students begin skip counting at a higher number.

System80 offers remediation of beginning sounds and irregular sight words. Time telling for on the hour and half hours.

Apples  

Apple Coloring Book Students click on radio buttons to color a picture while on line. They also learn how to use the refresh button to clear their colors by reloading the page.

The Juice Moose is just a game where the kids catch apples in the basket. Using this site will familiarize students with the use of the arrow keys, opening and closing the browser, web site navigation, and maximizing the screen using the F11 key.

Jan Brett There is too much at this site to describe. Visit it and see all the author information, book information, and piggy back lesson plans. This is an excellent site.

Dr. Seuss This is mostly a game site. There is a short page on who Dr. Seuss was.

BatQuest is a cute site to use with the book Stellaluna. It also includes a list of resources.

Biomes and Habitats

Enchanted Learning There is a lot of information on habitats and the animals that live in them. There are also some pictures that can be printed out.

On the Wings of Freedom This is without a doubt the best butterfly site on the net! It was created by high school students and gives information on all aspects of butterflies.

Children's Butterfly Site This site shows the life cycle of butterflies, has gallery pictures and coloring book pictures.

Billy Bear 4 Kids This is really more of a holiday oriented game site. Students could send holiday greetings to teachers via email. It does have a cute interactive "build your own snow globe and send it" feature that is fun.

Ivy's Holiday Greeting Cards is a place where students can print out a holiday card here while learning to click on different radio buttons and web navigation.

Jan Brett Decorate a Tree Students learn the drag and drop functions while putting ornaments on a Christmas tree.
