This site is a good site for teaching about bogus sites on the web. It looks authentic but it is not. The Golden Gate Tunnel If you know of any sites that would be good to add to the "Bogus" list please contact me!

Bonsai Kitten This site is a joke. I have to admit it is in poor taste if you like kittens as much as I do! This site will show that anything can be published on the internet!

How to Conduct Effective Searches

Seven Steps to Better Searching Webquest This site offers ways to narrow your searches. It doesn't discuss finding antonyms, address this at the end of the lesson. Students print out a worksheet and hunt for subjects.

Disney's Surf Swell Island Learn a little about Internet Safety, computer viruses, emicons, and cybernettiqute at this site. This is a fun, interactive game.

KidsCom Internet Safety Game. This is an online safety game. This is a game where students must unscramble words and sentences. This site is for grades 3-6.

Safe Surfin' Surf the net safely. This is an online safety review. Printable Driver's license for the internet is a must! This site is for grades 3-6.

Safe Teens This is a site for grades 6th and up. Cybersaftey is discussed. Working with partners, teams will create a PowerPoint or HyperStudio presentation about Internet safety, spamming, and privacy issues.
